Almost 31 weeks!

So tomorrow I will be 31 weeks pregnant! The third trimester has been really good for me so far. I still can't believe I am already almost there, only 9 more weeks and I get to meet my precious little baby girl! :)
Here are some fun facts about what's going in my tummy right now:
  • She weighs about 4 pounds! No wonder why it hurts to walk haha
  • She is almost the full length that she will be when she is born (16-21 inches long!)
  • Her immune system is almost prepared for the world out here :)
  • If she is going to have hair or peach fuzz on her head when she is born, that is starting to grow!
If you couldn't tell, I am loving being prego (well besides the stretch marks and cyatic nerve issues haha but thats luckily been the worst of my concerns)
I love that my husband can feel her now all the time. She loves feeling daddy's hands. Wish us luck for the next 9 weeks, they are going to go by fast!!

I feel so old....

What a lovely birthday weekend I was able to share with both of my families:) I turned 22 on . Saturday, proud to say I will be having my first baby when I am 22 years old haha, good start eh?

he he, just a little flashback to my 10th birthday! Me and Brianna :)

Me and cute little Lelly!
Last Friday night after Mike got off work, we headed to Utah to my parent's house. We played some card games and went to Beto's (which I haven't done since I was like 17 haha and I totally remember why now...). Saturday morning was a bright and early one, being since my mind would NOT STOP at 3.30 am. So unfortunately, my birthday was spent mostly with three hours of sleep and a lovely headache to keep me company ALL day long! Gotta love that! But all in all, I still had a wonderful birthday thanks to my hubby and family! We met Brandon, Kylie, and little Irey at Los Hermanos for lunch, which I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the service and food! (And I can complain about that because I have worked in many, many different restaurants since I was 14 and it really is not that difficult to freaking bring chips and salsa after we've been sitting there 25 minutes and to keep our WATER cups full!!)

All of the Fam Damily at lunch! (notice the little booger-picker in the front haha)

After lunch, Mike dropped me off to get a pedicure. I was So stoked for this, being since I can hardly even bend over, let alone clip and paint my own toenails! It was really relaxing and I enjoyed every minute of it. We went shopping to a few different places and got sick of all the people so we headed home, where my mom and sisters were busy busy making lots of yummy Halloween treats for my aunt Brenda's Halloween party later that night.

Brianna hard at work on her cute marshmellow witches!

Me with my yummy ice cream cake.
After my birthday celebrations, we all got dressed up and headed to my aunt Brenda's for her yearly Halloween party! Last minute my mom put together a cute Minnie Mouse costume for me, yes I was feeling fat and lame and wasn't going to dress up. haha thanks though mom for dressin me up!

Mike-"whitetrash", Me-"Minnie Mouse", Brent Jr.-"Tin man', Dad-"scarecrow", Brianna-"the Lion", Mom-"Dorthy", Brielle-"The Wicked Witch of the west"

I guess my husband thought he was "too cool" or "too whitetrash" or something to smile ha

My brother Brandon and his cute family

Brit and Bre!

Me with my adorable neice Irey!

All of the cute prego cousins/aunts! According to my Grandma Blackwell there is "a pregnancy epedemic in our family" haha
We all had lots of fun with family and friends dressing up! I especially enjoyed all the yummy snacks there :)
What a great time of year! I just can't wait until next year at this time. I am so excited to dress my little girl up for Halloween!

Fall Time :)

Since we've moved into our new house, it has been so hard to just sit down and blog! There are so many things for me to get done, I love being busy!

A couple of weekends ago, when my family had their fall break, they all came to visit and see our new house. It was SO much fun having people I know here in town, we've had very few visitors due to the time of year and distance. Hopefully that will change now that we actually have a place for people to stay comfortably! Anyways, that weekend we got a lot of things done; we finished almost everything we needed to sew for the nursery (my mom pretty much did it all, she's incredible), painted many many things for the nursery since I am not supposed to paint (thanks sooooo much Brianna and Brielle!), we worked on and finished my baby shower invites getting them ready to mail, made Halloween sugar cookies and decorated them, went swimming and worked out at our really nice Rec. Center which we get to go to for free :), watched some awesome movies, and laughed hysterically while doing all of those. I always look forward to seeing my family because we always have the most crazy fun times, no matter what we're doing.

Everyone relaxin' and chillin'!
Lelly, Bony, me, and mommy!

Making our Halloween sugar cookies!

Meanwhile, the boys literally were staring at the computer screen from the second they woke up to the minute they went to bed, taking breaks only to stuff their faces and go dirt biking a couple of times. We all got a huge kick out of Mike and Brent Jr. and the hours after hours that they spent looking and talking about motorcycles on the computer. Silly boys. :) Thank goodness Brent was able to get an INCREDIBLE deal on a dirk bike of his own, a really really nice bike. Now he just has to get it out here and him and Mike will have the time of their lives with all the hills and trails around here. It really is the perfect place to dirk bike, it's awesome how that worked out!
Doing what they do best, yippin' away at the computer about bikes!
Mike, and Hurk on Mike's bike. :)
What a great weekend we had with them! Hope to have visitors sometime soon. :)

Our new home

SO we were finally able to close on our house a little over two weeks ago! There were way too many complications than necessary, but we got everything squared away (or more as waited for the sellers to get this squared away ha ha). It was well worth the wait! I am LOVING my new little house. It has been really fun decorating and doing things however I want, sooo much better than renting or living in a motor home!! Mike and I feel so blessed to have been able to purchase our first humble adobe within the first year of our marriage. :) It is definitely a big responsibility, but it's great to have my own little home that we'll be able to start growing our little family in!

I LOVE that huge tree in the front yard, great shade :) This is our cute little, humble house!
There are so many things in a normal household that I have definitely taken for granted before we moved out here. I am soo thankful for a normal, running toilet, HOT RUNNING SHOWER!!, fridge and freezer that fits more than a gallon of milk, counterspace to actually cook on, a COUCH, my amazingly comfortable bed, a garbage disposal, mike's favorite-the GARAGE! ha I could continue but I just want to say how thankful I am for a roof over my head and for my little growing angel inside of me. Oh how I love her soo much already. I can't wait to meet her, in like two and a half months!!

This is me at 27 weeks.

Life here in Colorado is going great....now that we're enjoying where we're living. :) I am getting very anxious for the next couple of months to hurry up! I have lots of distractions though which will be great, my birthday, Halloween, a couple of baby showers, a cousin's wedding, Michael and I's first anniversary, Thanksgiving and the other holidays. What a great couple of months we have to look forward to! Baby will be here before we know it. I have been able to feel her so much more lately, which I love, I was getting worried there for a little bit. Every Sunday in church, whenever we sing a hymn, she just goes nuts!! Not sure if she hates it or if we have a little spiritual singing bee on our hands! It makes me laugh so hard, people are probably looking at me like why on earth is that prego lady laughing during every song? ha ha She also HATES cold, which I'm sure most babies in the womb do. I was eating ice cream the other day on the couch, I had the ice cream bowl rested on top of my belly, she kept kicking and kicking at it, probably telling me to get that off of her! I would take it off and she immediately stopped, we did that back and forth for a little bit, it was very amusing for me. That was also the very first time that I SAW my belly move because of her moving. It was so incredible.
I have days like once a week where I feel all day like my skin is literally being pulled and pulled nonstop, making my belly appear even bigger. It's very painful :( This is my baby bump at 28 weeks.

28 1/2 weeks.
I have quickly found while unpacking and decorating my house, that I have ZERO balance and it's extremely difficult to do something as simple as standing on a chair to hang a picture ha ha. So far I have only fallen once, hurt like a mother though because I weigh like 123122234970 more pounds than I used to!!
Here are a couple of pictures of the inside of the house. My camera is pretty much a piece of garbage so not very good pictures. If you wanna see better ones, then COME VISIT!!!
Our living/family room. I am so happy with how HUGE this room is. Good thing, because we have a lot of crap to fit in it!!
Dining area and Kitchen, my least favorite thing about this house.
The laundry room. Something very dear to me. In our apartment in Bountiful the washer and dryer hook ups were in the kitchen, which we used as lovely counter space! ha ha
Second bedroom.
Second bathroom.
PATHETIC picture of the nursery. I need to get working on it! As of now, its just piles and boxes of stuff :(
Our lovely, spacious master bedroom.
Our lovely and very unspacious master bathroom.

I am so shocked that I was able to unpack and decorate almost everything in two weeks! I thought it would take me months. Thank goodness it's all behind me! Now about the nursery......it could use a lot of working on.

Oh Love, Love, Love Love Love Love

Oh love, what in the world would I do without you!?
Michael and my Evelette really are the only things keeping me going right now. I hope I don't complain too much on here, but I want you know that I really do have so many things to be grateful for, besides my trailer situation, life really has been so good to me...
1. I look forward to Mike coming home every day, and to eating dinner with my man. FAVORITE PART OF MY DAY :) He is such a sweetheart and takes care of me so well, I feel very lucky. He is going to be such an incredible daddy! I love you babe.
2. Feeling those crazy kicks and movements inside of me, oh how I love my little girl. She seriously is such a blessing to me and I know she will always bring us great joy in life for many years to come. <3
3. Calling, or getting that phone call from my dear mother. Talking to her each day definitely brightens my day and makes life so much better. I love her so much. She always knows just what to say to me and knowing that she SINCERELY cares means so much. She is one of the busiest people I know, and yet she still takes time to see how I'm doing.
4. These last couple years have really made me realize one thing in life, nothing matters more than FAMILY. Each and every year this becomes more and more true to me, I would be no where without my amazing family. They have supported me and cared about me in everything I do. My dad used to say growing up that "frenny friends will not always be there when you need them most, family is most important." I always laughed that off and ignored it when I was little, but it is so true, what a blessing my eternal family is to me! This may sound very stupid, but every time that I get on facebook and see that one of my siblings is online, or whenever I get a text from them, I get so excited. Living out of state has been a difficult change for me, so little things like that are great ha. If you don't know my family, then you are for sure missing out! :)
5. The gospel has gotten me through wonderful and horrible times. I am so thankful for my testimony and my beliefs in this church. I love that no matter where you go, the church is still the same and the spirit is as strong as ever. I love my new ward and I know they will help me through this change in life. What a blessing it is to know that every Sunday you can go to church, leave all the cares of the world behind, and just enjoying learning and hearing new things.
6. Britny Burningham. Nothing else needs to be said. If you know her, you will know why I love her sweetness and spunkyness so much. I am sooooooooooo thankful for my best friend in my life. Even if we live 400 miles away, I feel closer to her than ever. She is always in touch and sincerely wants to know how my life is, now that is a TRUE friend. She has always been there for me and I know I can always count on her. :)
7. Did I mention my amazing husband yet...? he he. I love him so much.

Closing on a house....what a joke!

Oh life, where to start!?
So update on our house, we weren't able to close on September 14th like we'd originally planned. The day before we were supposed to close, our mortgage agent told us that the previous owners of the house supposedly has a lean. GREAT!! Just what we needed to hear. So we have been waiting and waiting for that phone call to tell us everything is cleared up and we're good to go! But each and every time we do get a phone call from the title company or our mortgage agent, it's bad news. Two weeks later and we've still heard a big fat NOTHING! I'm not sure whether to say getting pissed or just waiting patiently is the answer, but I've tried everything in between and nothing seems to calm me down. haha maybe due to the fact that I am pregnant and have been living in a motorhome with 4 wheels and a steering wheel at the front, going on 4 months now. Each week, literally, something goes wrong with the RV. Not sure if it's our fault these things keep happening or the fact that it's just... old? The most recent problem is that we're out of propane, so absolutly NO HOT WATER, no gas for the stove and no heater. The heater isn't an issue for me, I love it cold, but Mike freezes every night :( well the story really could go on all night but i'll spare you guys the details and stop complaining...

As embarrassing as this is, this is 3/4 of the motorhome, where I live at the momento! Messy, so cramped and small, and pretty much absurd that I have been living here for as long as I have. Oh help me please!!

On the other hand, pregnant life couldn't be better! I always imagined being pregnant was going to be great, but I love love love being pregnant. I love feeling the baby, I love seeing my belly move in weird ways and I love talking to my little Evelette knowing that she can hear me! Mike's newest trick, although very funny I think it's a little mean, he will get his hand ICE cold from cold water and put his hand directly on my belly and holy crap does she go crazy!! I highly doubt those crazy kicks are movements of joy, but it sure does give Mike and I a good laugh haha. Poor little girl, daddy's already teasing her.

I cannot believe how big my belly is growing! Mine is almost as big as Mike's now!! haha jk, it's most definitely outgrown his :)
Talk about HUGE!! Being since I don't really have that big of hips (or I didn't used to ha), my baby is showing ALL out front! Pretty soon I'm not going to want any pictures taken of me!

As of right now, I am almost 27 weeks pregnant. About 3 months left, I can't believe how fast it's coming! The more and more I think about going through labor, I get freaked out, I am very nervous! But I cannot wait til the little one gets here, life will be so much more joyful and my days will be so full I won't know what to do with myself, quite the opposite of life right now. I feel so blessed to have this baby growing inside of me, such a special bond I already share with my child :)

Michael and I have been trying to keep ourselves busy so we're not sitting around bummed out about our house. So last weekend we went to Grand Junction for the day, it was a lot of fun to get out of our dumpy 150 sq ft living space for the day. Mike was extactic about looking at this brand new dirtbike he wants to get. We went to three different places to look at the same bike haha. I wish I had a picture of his face when he was sitting on those bikes, he looked like this little kid on Christmas, it was so cute. After that we went to the mall and some different stores to look at some strollers/car seats and things for the nursery. We ended up just walking around forever, but we still had fun together. :) For dinner we went to this Italian restaraunt, Carino's, that we tried the last time we were in town, I love everything about that place....GOOD GOOD FOOD! My favorite thing there is the UNLIMITED salad and soup for only $1.49!!! haha I love it :)

My cute hubby at Carino's (my new favorite restaraunt) in Grand Junction.

Well hopefully by the next time I blog, I'll be in my new house!! Wish us luck!

Obsessed Much?!

I have started making a TON of bows, clips, headbands for my little Evelette. It's been quite a fun little hobby, definitely something good to keep me busy! :) By the time I actually have her I will probably have made like ten different bows in each color and size haha. But hey, at least she will be very stylish unlike her mother right!?
And if Mike has even commented on how cute some of them are, then maybe they really ARE cute!! haha He isn't exactly the one to comment on my crafts much. But it's okay, I don't blame him much, it's definitely a girl thing!
Here are most of the bows I have made so far! :

This is one of my favorites!

Don't tell anyone, haha but I took these off of a pair of my sandals. . .
LOVE this one!!
These are just two seperate bows I clipped onto that lace headband.
As you can tell, Purple is my pretty much my favorite color and is definitely being carried over to my lovely daughter :)
