Oh Love, Love, Love Love Love Love

Oh love, what in the world would I do without you!?
Michael and my Evelette really are the only things keeping me going right now. I hope I don't complain too much on here, but I want you know that I really do have so many things to be grateful for, besides my trailer situation, life really has been so good to me...
1. I look forward to Mike coming home every day, and to eating dinner with my man. FAVORITE PART OF MY DAY :) He is such a sweetheart and takes care of me so well, I feel very lucky. He is going to be such an incredible daddy! I love you babe.
2. Feeling those crazy kicks and movements inside of me, oh how I love my little girl. She seriously is such a blessing to me and I know she will always bring us great joy in life for many years to come. <3
3. Calling, or getting that phone call from my dear mother. Talking to her each day definitely brightens my day and makes life so much better. I love her so much. She always knows just what to say to me and knowing that she SINCERELY cares means so much. She is one of the busiest people I know, and yet she still takes time to see how I'm doing.
4. These last couple years have really made me realize one thing in life, nothing matters more than FAMILY. Each and every year this becomes more and more true to me, I would be no where without my amazing family. They have supported me and cared about me in everything I do. My dad used to say growing up that "frenny friends will not always be there when you need them most, family is most important." I always laughed that off and ignored it when I was little, but it is so true, what a blessing my eternal family is to me! This may sound very stupid, but every time that I get on facebook and see that one of my siblings is online, or whenever I get a text from them, I get so excited. Living out of state has been a difficult change for me, so little things like that are great ha. If you don't know my family, then you are for sure missing out! :)
5. The gospel has gotten me through wonderful and horrible times. I am so thankful for my testimony and my beliefs in this church. I love that no matter where you go, the church is still the same and the spirit is as strong as ever. I love my new ward and I know they will help me through this change in life. What a blessing it is to know that every Sunday you can go to church, leave all the cares of the world behind, and just enjoying learning and hearing new things.
6. Britny Burningham. Nothing else needs to be said. If you know her, you will know why I love her sweetness and spunkyness so much. I am sooooooooooo thankful for my best friend in my life. Even if we live 400 miles away, I feel closer to her than ever. She is always in touch and sincerely wants to know how my life is, now that is a TRUE friend. She has always been there for me and I know I can always count on her. :)
7. Did I mention my amazing husband yet...? he he. I love him so much.

Closing on a house....what a joke!

Oh life, where to start!?
So update on our house, we weren't able to close on September 14th like we'd originally planned. The day before we were supposed to close, our mortgage agent told us that the previous owners of the house supposedly has a lean. GREAT!! Just what we needed to hear. So we have been waiting and waiting for that phone call to tell us everything is cleared up and we're good to go! But each and every time we do get a phone call from the title company or our mortgage agent, it's bad news. Two weeks later and we've still heard a big fat NOTHING! I'm not sure whether to say getting pissed or just waiting patiently is the answer, but I've tried everything in between and nothing seems to calm me down. haha maybe due to the fact that I am pregnant and have been living in a motorhome with 4 wheels and a steering wheel at the front, going on 4 months now. Each week, literally, something goes wrong with the RV. Not sure if it's our fault these things keep happening or the fact that it's just... old? The most recent problem is that we're out of propane, so absolutly NO HOT WATER, no gas for the stove and no heater. The heater isn't an issue for me, I love it cold, but Mike freezes every night :( well the story really could go on all night but i'll spare you guys the details and stop complaining...

As embarrassing as this is, this is 3/4 of the motorhome, where I live at the momento! Messy, so cramped and small, and pretty much absurd that I have been living here for as long as I have. Oh help me please!!

On the other hand, pregnant life couldn't be better! I always imagined being pregnant was going to be great, but I love love love being pregnant. I love feeling the baby, I love seeing my belly move in weird ways and I love talking to my little Evelette knowing that she can hear me! Mike's newest trick, although very funny I think it's a little mean, he will get his hand ICE cold from cold water and put his hand directly on my belly and holy crap does she go crazy!! I highly doubt those crazy kicks are movements of joy, but it sure does give Mike and I a good laugh haha. Poor little girl, daddy's already teasing her.

I cannot believe how big my belly is growing! Mine is almost as big as Mike's now!! haha jk, it's most definitely outgrown his :)
Talk about HUGE!! Being since I don't really have that big of hips (or I didn't used to ha), my baby is showing ALL out front! Pretty soon I'm not going to want any pictures taken of me!

As of right now, I am almost 27 weeks pregnant. About 3 months left, I can't believe how fast it's coming! The more and more I think about going through labor, I get freaked out, I am very nervous! But I cannot wait til the little one gets here, life will be so much more joyful and my days will be so full I won't know what to do with myself, quite the opposite of life right now. I feel so blessed to have this baby growing inside of me, such a special bond I already share with my child :)

Michael and I have been trying to keep ourselves busy so we're not sitting around bummed out about our house. So last weekend we went to Grand Junction for the day, it was a lot of fun to get out of our dumpy 150 sq ft living space for the day. Mike was extactic about looking at this brand new dirtbike he wants to get. We went to three different places to look at the same bike haha. I wish I had a picture of his face when he was sitting on those bikes, he looked like this little kid on Christmas, it was so cute. After that we went to the mall and some different stores to look at some strollers/car seats and things for the nursery. We ended up just walking around forever, but we still had fun together. :) For dinner we went to this Italian restaraunt, Carino's, that we tried the last time we were in town, I love everything about that place....GOOD GOOD FOOD! My favorite thing there is the UNLIMITED salad and soup for only $1.49!!! haha I love it :)

My cute hubby at Carino's (my new favorite restaraunt) in Grand Junction.

Well hopefully by the next time I blog, I'll be in my new house!! Wish us luck!

Obsessed Much?!

I have started making a TON of bows, clips, headbands for my little Evelette. It's been quite a fun little hobby, definitely something good to keep me busy! :) By the time I actually have her I will probably have made like ten different bows in each color and size haha. But hey, at least she will be very stylish unlike her mother right!?
And if Mike has even commented on how cute some of them are, then maybe they really ARE cute!! haha He isn't exactly the one to comment on my crafts much. But it's okay, I don't blame him much, it's definitely a girl thing!
Here are most of the bows I have made so far! :

This is one of my favorites!

Don't tell anyone, haha but I took these off of a pair of my sandals. . .
LOVE this one!!
These are just two seperate bows I clipped onto that lace headband.
As you can tell, Purple is my pretty much my favorite color and is definitely being carried over to my lovely daughter :)

Life is great :) and will be even better in 5 days!!

I don't have much to say right now other than my life is wonderful. I have loved the past couple of weeks for many reasons!
-I am 24 weeks pregnant and have been feeling the baby kick and play inside of me for a couple of weeks now. I LOVE IT! There is no other feeling like it in the world. I feel so bad though, because I can feel her having a party in my belly at least once a day, but as soon as I grab Mike's hands, she stops. Does this mean that my little girl already has a mind of her own?? haha I am afraid it does. But he has only felt her move once. Oh well we still have many many weeks to go! The very first time I knew that little movement inside of me was for sure her, was when I was 21 and a half weeks along.

24 weeks and 4 days! Boy am I huge!!

Our First 'Family' Picture :)

-St. George for my brother Brandon's 25th birthday weekend was a BLAST! We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in my sister-in-law's parents house. I was able to spend a lot of time with my beautiful neice Irelyn Jane.  She definitely kept me busy every second I was awake. If I wasn't in her view at all times, she would yell "WHERE'S BRITTY!? BRITTY WHERE ARE YOU!?" haha it gave me a good laugh and definitely made me realize ... I BETTER GET USED TO THAT!! haha. but it's okay, I enjoyed every minute of it. :) She is such a smart little two year old, she even understands that I have a baby in my tummy. She very frequently would come and pat/kiss my tummy saying "I love you Evelette." Such a little sweetie.

She loves her caramel popcorn!

Mini-golfing for Brandon's bday was lots of fun! and of course, I lost. haha

Brands and Irey with the BYU cake! yummm
Irey and Brent Jr.
Sisters just chillin!
Brianna, Mommy, and Lell at Texas Roadhouse!
Me with Grandma and Grandpa Blackwell, in Cedar City :)

-My sister-in-law Kylie is pregnant and is having another baby April 2011! We were all very excited for this news. My little baby will have a cousin VERY close to her age! Too bad we live far away now :( Makes for more exciting visits!!
-Last weekend, Labor Day weekend, was a wonderful four day break WITH my hubby. He got a paid four day weekend, which is soooo nice!! We went down Thursday night and stayed at my parents house in Springville til Saturday afternoon. It's always a treat to stay with the Blackwell's. There is never a dull moment and that's the way we want it to stay! hehe! We stayed in Bountiful Saturday and Sunday night at Mike's mom's house. We had a good time playing cards, playing with Mike's adorable nephew Xander, and eating lots of yummy food!

Little Baby Xander (Mike's brother David's little boy)! We love playing with this cute little boy when we come to visit.

-Did I mention that I am 24 weeks pregnant yet!? Which means I am more than half way!!! I am so excited to be a mommy.

The very, very anticipated day has finally snuck upon us! We will be closing on our new house next Tuesday, September 14th and boy am I excited!! I feel like I talk about this too much, but heck I don't flippin care anymore- haha you would too if you lived in a place with 4 wheels and a steering wheel at the front, right!?

The end of summer...

We were very sad to see the end of summer come so quickly. I am just so used to having my siblings ready to play whenever I came to visit. It's going to be so different now that they'll all be in school, INCLUDING MY MOM!! ha ha I am so happy and proud of her for going back to school, but it will definitely be a difficult adjustment for us all.
I felt baby girl kick VERY HARD for the first time last week. It was such a great feeling to distinctively know that is was her kicking. We have decided on a name for her, Evelette Diane. We are so excited about this name, Mike was the one who actually came up with it a while back and it just seemed to kinda stick once we for sure knew we were having a girl.
Last week I was lucky enough to spend the whole week at my family's house in Springville. It was the craziest week ever. Tuesday I had an ultrasound double checking the sex, measuring all her different body parts, and checking for any abnormalities. My mom and I went to Pei Wei before my appointment, this is now our favorite place to eat together. :) After that we went shopping at all kinds of different places getting baby clothes and different crafts to start the baby nursery. I always have so much fun with my mom! Wednesday was the 'Girls Day' in Park City. We went to lunch and then went shopping at the outlets. It was such a nice and perfect breezy day for shopping. We got a lot of good deals and a lot of good laughs. (I need to get all the pictures from my mom!) Thursday was not such a fun day for me. My mom took me up to Ogden for my second Root Canal appointment. NOOOO fun laying in a dentist chair for over 3 hours while prego!! My tooth is feeling a lot better thanks to a lot of yummy frozen treats that day :) and I am just so glad that's over with! Friday my mom and I finally were able to start on the nursery and crib stuff! It's turning out to be so cute already, lots more to do but I am getting soo excited about moving into our house and starting this nursery! Later that night my cousin Nicole and her little family Brad and Jett came over to play. It's so nice having them close and being able to see lots more of them! We had lots of fun chatting, ping ponging and playing Phase 10! Saturday I went to Mike's aunt's baby shower at the Hale Theater, it was such a fun time!
Anyways... Crazy crazy fun week last week, I need to get some pictures. I always feel so bad leaving Mike at home by himself, but he's always such a great husband and a great sport about it. I love him so much!

Just some fun random pics of my family and I.
My little girl's profile at 21 weeks. She's going to have the Blackwell lips and the Meinzer nose! haha
These blocks turned out great. I just to add ribbon and hang them once we get the nursery going!

Tomorrow I have another doctor's appointment to see Evey, and then off to St. George with my family for my brother Brandon's birthday weekend! Very excited for more family time...but not necessarily the HEAT.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

It's official, Michael and I are having a baby GIRL! And we couldn't be more thrilled and excited! Most of us were just expecting it to be a boy because of the Meinzer genes. BUT I guess I proved everyone wrong, Blackwell genes do have a say he he. We have a couple of names we're thinking of, but nothing totally for sure yet. Best of all, my little girl looks like she is growing and growing and is very healthy, which a mommy always loves to hear. :-)
We had such a great weekend with both of our families. My best friend had her baby shower on Saturday, it was really good seeing her and all my friends together! Baby showers make me sooo excited for my little one. After the shower, Brit and I went on my FIRST shopping spree for our little girl, who is going to be very very spoiled. I also started making some baby bows and headbands, thanks to the help of Kylie, Mommy, and Lelly Bell. As you can tell, I am VERY excited to finally know what the gender of my baby is :)

Bigger and Bigger...

So I am at Barnes and Noble in Denver, Colorado, waiting for Mike to get out of his class. It has been such a nice relaxing couple of days this week. Mike had to come here Sunday-Wednesday for some training for his new job. Paid hotel, food, gas, and a freakin sweet ride. haha It's been pretty fun. I love spending time with my hubby AWAY from the motorhome!! Makes for such a enjoyable time--pretty much no matter what we end up doing. I woke up this morning with a stupid, painful cold. BLAH. Not so fun when traveling back home, going from 11, 000 foot elevation to 4, 000 foot elevation, painful for the ears if you know what I mean.

The drive was so incredible, so beautiful! It rained the whole time, and we were so high that we practically drove right through clouds, it was cool! I definitely forgot how amazing the Rocky Mountains are! Awesome scenery for our long drive :)

Yes, Mike ate this whole Blooming Onion himselft. Ha ha I was laughing at how excited he was to get it at Outback Steakhouse. He would've shared, but I dislike onions very much.

We had such a fun time being dorks in these awesome 3D glasses. For those of you who have not seen Despicable Me, GO SEE IT. We were laughing the whole time! Great, cute movie.

More baby bump pictures... I swear my belly literally gets bigger every day! Fun times.

Boy or Girl?????
TWO MORE DAYS UNTIL I WILL FINALLY KNOW!! :)
